Compact state of the art autoclave ideal for ambulatory surgical centers, veterinary animal hospitals, laboratory and university research facilities. The Tuttnauer 5596 large capacity autoclave comes with a total of 14 programs which includes gravity cycles, pre-vacuum cycles, liquid cycles and two test programs: Air Removal and Vacuum Leak. All programs are fully customizable to suit the specific needs and requirements of the end user.

Reliable and easy to use, the 44-55 Compact Series boasts multiple cycle options, comes standard with a full temperature range and can be manufactured using single or double door configurations along with sliding/hinged door options. One year parts and labor warranty included with every purchase. The ASME pressure vessel is warranted to the original owner against material and workmanship failure for a period of 15 years from the date of initial operation.

Data and Software: The New Tuttnauer 55 compact series is equipped with BacSoft, a user-friendly control system for repeatable high performance. It has a 7″ multi color touch screen panel to store the last 100 cycles with built-in memory, multiple access levels and user passwords for added security, Diagnostic In/Out test enables checking each system component separately. USB ports, ethernet and internal battery back-up. Optional features include isothermal cycle for low temperature disinfection, software control and remote monitoring via R.PC.R. software. Optional Allen-Bradley® control systems, featuring a color touch screen interface are available upon request.

The Tuttnauer line of healthcare sterilizers are designed for hospital operating rooms, central sterile supply departments, ambulatory surgery centers, dental schools, and other clinical settings. FDA cleared, the autoclaves come standard with immediate use, wrapped and unwrapped cycles, to satisfy all sterilization needs in the healthcare market. Two test cycles are also included. All sterilizers are equipped with reliable non-proprietary components, maximizing “ uptime” while providing an ultra low total cost of ownership.

Loading equipment for the 5596 Compact Series is manufactured from high quality stainless steel material.

Rack & Shelves: Stainless steel electropolished trays equipped with rails for easy loading and unloading. The trays are sliding, extendable and removable.

Loading Cart & Transfer Carriage: The adjustable loading cart rolls from the transfer carriage onto the interior chamber tracks for easy handling of heavy loads. The transfer carriage is equipped with two swivel wheels, maximizing mobility in limited space. The transfer carriage is also equipped with wheel locks to stabilize the load, if needed.

 Quality:

Our quality features enable the convenience and durability needed to operate an autoclave with complete peace of mind. The fully jacketed chamber is constructed of long lasting 316L grade stainless steel with superior corrosion resistance. The sterilizer pipes and fittings are constructed from stainless steel and brass.The pneumatically operated valves significantly reduce maintenance and downtime. The steam can be provided to the autoclave from the building’s central source, an electric steam generator (stainless steel or carbon steel), or a steam-to-steam generator. In addition, if no buttons or switches are operated for four hours, the autoclave will switch to standby mode.

Control Made Simple:

An automated process control uses the Tuttnauer advanced microprocessor control system. Our Cat2007 Control Panel is user friendly and consists of a 4 line, 20 Column LCD and a functional touchpad. A self diagnostic system provides messages and alerts that are displayed in a clear language. Audible alerts are sounded with the messages. The LCD display provides constant cycle parameter readouts and cycle progress information. The control system is self-diagnostic and provides fault messages to the operator. Double door autoclaves are provided with a dual built in, full display and enhanced control system on both sides of the autoclave.

The control system is programmed with a total of 12 cycles that range in temperature from 105°C -138°C:

• 4 programs for unwrapped instruments
• 4 programs for wrapped instruments and packs
• 3 slow pressure exhaust cycles
• 1 flash cycle
• 2 test programs: Bowie & Dick and Vacuum Test

Printer;

For clear and concise documentation of the sterilization process, the control unit is provided with a built-in printer. This provides real-time cycle data including the pressure, temperature, change of phase, alarms and a summary at the end of the cycle.

 Safety;

Door Safety: The autoclave doors are designed with a number of independent mechanical and digital safety features. This guarantees that if a problem should occur, an autoclave failure will be prevented.

• A safety device prevents the operator from opening the door when chamber is pressurized
• Steam is not allowed into the chamber when the door or gasket is open
• A cycle cannot start if the door is open or not properly locked
• The door cannot unlock until chamber pressure reaches room pressure
• Sliding Doors Safety – The sliding door progress will automatically stop if an obstruction is detected
• Double Door Safety – interlocks prevent both doors from being opened simultaneously

General Safety Features:

• Double Independent Monitoring: The combined digital and mechanical monitoring provides a cross reference and guarantees accurate results. The operator has two independent means to monitor temperature and pressure.
• Built-in Steam Generator Safety: A water level monitoring system maintains a constant water level and ensures safe operation of the heaters
• Safety Valves: Both the chamber and the jacket are equipped with safety valves – if the pressure exceeds the allowed limit the safety valves will discharge
• Emergency shut-off: Easily accessible emergency switches for immediate cycle shut-off
